VBS has begun!  All who are attending are learning about the times and activities within the 'Jerusalem Marketplace' framework.  Monday saw introductions, exploring, and learning about the Hebrew alphabet, some traditional styled Hebrew songs, and some new words like Shalom!Within the marketplace children visit the shops run by a jeweler, baker, carpenter, musician, weaver, spice shopkeeper, and more! 

There have been a few dramatic events around the well so far, including the exclamation of a wife to her husband about seeing Jesus.  Tuesday we had a run in with the roman soldier near the well, with James and John, as they wondered about the curious actions and words of Jesus while they left the Lord's Supper.   Within the marketplace we hired a new carpenter to open the shop, and had a baker that was shut down because she didn't pay her taxes to the tax collector!
