The Sychar technician squirrels were busy this week.  As you can see from Netcraft,  we have been operating SycharLutheran.org since  April of 2007.  However, the server itself was busy doing things well  before April, just not doing the webserver aspect of our computer services.  Today was close enough, so we completed annual maintenance tasks such as a few major software updates, and more importantly:  Dust removal.  Yes, we powered it all down and blew out the dust bunnies.  The main server was down for about 10 minutes.  We also blew out the dust inside the firewall and network control box - which brought the network itself down for about 5 minutes. 

I personally thank anyone that has prayed for Sychar, and espeically the little things like electronics.  We have been greatly blessed by the church network, server functions, and the new copier in the office.  Thank you!
